BIT VG30

Bitumen VG30 is a type of viscosity-grade bitumen, commonly used for road construction and maintenance.

Key Characteristics:

1. Medium-soft grade of viscosity bitumen

2. Suitable for moderate climate conditions

3. Balances viscosity and durability

Applications:

1. Road construction (asphalt paving, overlays)

2. Road maintenance (repairs, surface dressing)

3. Airport runways and taxiways

4. Parking lots and driveways

5. Bitumen emulsions and modified bitumen products

Specifications:

1. Absolute Viscosity at 60°C: 2,500-3,500 Poise

2. Kinematic Viscosity at 135°C: 350-450 CST

3. Flash Point: 240°C

4. Solubility in Trichloroethylene: 99%

5. Penetration Value at 25°C: 50-70 0.1mm

6. Softening Point: 45-55°C

Comparison with other grades:

1. VG10: Softer and more fluid than VG30

2. VG40: Thicker and more durable than VG30
